A Moose Jaw man is facing charges after he suffered a drug overdose at a Regina hotel and was revived and taken to hospital.

Just before 9 a.m. Sunday, police were called to a report of a man in extreme medical distress, who was suspected to have overdosed on drugs, at a hotel on Victoria Avenue East.

Paramedics revived the man and transported him to hospital.

Police say they found cocaine and methamphetamine in the hotel room, and the man was arrested.

Randal Ross Rochat, 43, of Moose Jaw is charged with two counts of drug possession. He is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 11.
