Sabeen Ahmad

Sabeen Ahmad is a Weather and Community Anchor for CTV News Regina.

Born and raised in Regina, Sabeen graduated from the School of Journalism at the University of Regina in 2008.

She first joined CTV Regina in 2009 as a Creative Producer and would later serve in broadcast journalism roles at various media outlets in Regina, where she gained extensive experience in newswriting, producing, reporting, and anchoring. Sabeen returned to CTV Regina in May of 2014 as a Weather Specialist; soon becoming Co-Host of CTV Morning Live before leaving in 2018 to pursue other opportunities around Regina.

She enjoys being able to bring viewers a closer look at the community’s stories and being able to participate in events as a representative of CTV that she used to take part in as just a local when she was younger.

Sabeen is certified to teach yoga and has also ran a number of half marathons including several Queen City Marathons. She speaks English and Urdu.
