The driver of a motorcycle was seriously injured in a crash in Moose Jaw on Wednesday.
Police and emergency crews responded to the single-vehicle crash at the intersection of the Trans-Canada Highway and Ninth Avenue Northwest around noon.
Moose Jaw police say the motorcyclist had to skid his bike along the highway and ditch to avoid a collision with a semi-tractor unit, which had left a stop sign at the intersection.
The driver of the motorcycle suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital by EMS.
Police are continuing to investigate at the scene. There’s no word on whether any charges will be laid.
