It won't just be the action on the field catching the attention of Rider fans this weekend.
From Friday night through Sunday, a series of protests are planned to be held outside Mosaic Stadium by those opposed to Regina’s stadium plan.
Organizers say the protests will be peaceful demonstrations to inform the public about their concerns and gather signatures on a petition to try to force a referendum on the issue.
Bylaw enforcement officials warn that tents aren’t allowed at the site, and that people can’t be there between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
