Four others — two women from Preeceville, Sask. who were in the truck and a man and woman from Canora, Sask. who were in the SUV — were taken to hospital. Their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening, according to police.

The RCMP’s media release stated officers on scene reported poor rood conditions.
