Regina police are advising the public to look out for a suspicious man who approached two young girls. On Saturday afternoon an 11-year-old girl and a 9-year-old girl were playing in the area of Jack MacKeanzie School located at 3838 Buckingham Drive East. Police say it is alleged that the 9-year-old was approached by a man and he took her to an area of trees. When the 11-year-old started calling out her friend’s name the man fled.

The 9-year-old was not physically harmed. Her parents were notified.

Police did not locate the man; however, they conducted several interviews and obtained a description. The man is described as Caucasian, 25-30-years-old, 5’8”-5’11”, medium build, and wearing a long sleeved shirt, jeans, runners and carrying a brown backpack.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
