Regina police have charged two men after a man was allegedly tied up, beaten and robbed.

The investigation began after a man showed up at the police station shortly after 1:30 a.m. Friday.

The man told police he had been taken to a house, where he was tied up assaulted and robbed.

He said he was let go after items were stolen from him, and he went to the police station, where he phoned for help.

Milo Levi Boyd Bear, 29, of Regina has been charged with armed robbery and forcible confinement. He appeared in court Friday.

Police have also charged 32-year-old Charles Leslie Alexander Doiron of Port Alberni, B.C. with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. Doiron was released on a recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court on March 5.
