The Regina Police Service says an officer discharged a Taser in an arrest on Saturday evening.
Police were called to a home in the 3700 block pf Dewdney Avenue around 8:50 p.m. for a report of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers found an injured woman and determined she had been assaulted by a man who might have a knife.
Police say the suspect would not cooperate and assaulted two officers. A Taser was deployed to gain control of the man. He was treated by EMS at the scene and taken into custody.
Bradley Keith Goodpipe, 42, is facing charges of assault with a weapon, breach of probation and two counts of assaulting a police officer. He will appear in court on Monday.
