The Regina Police explosives disposal unit was called to Donahue Avenue after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday after a homeowner found a bag of railway flares.
Officers secured the area, and took care of the flares without any risk to the public.
Police are reminding the public to avoid handling any object that looks suspicious, and to call police instead.
