Wednesday marked a milestone of sorts for motorists in Regina as the price of gas dipped below a dollar a litre at some stations in the city.

Regina Cabs and Regina Messenger were both selling regular unleaded for 99.9 cents a litre, according to consumer website GasBuddy.com.

Gas prices at other stations in the city ranged from 105.4 to 106.9 cents a litre, with the exception of Costco, where the price was 101.4 cents a litre.

Statistics on the GasBuddy website show gas prices in Regina have fallen about 10 cents on average since Oct. 21.
