One man was pronounced dead at the scene of a single vehicle collision in Prince Albert on Dec. 26.

The accident occurred shortly before 3 AM after a pickup truck struck a cement pillar of the Shellbrook overpass.

The vehicle was fully engulfed in flame when police arrived.

There was only one person in the truck. His identity has not been released.

Shellbrook overpass was closed until deemed safe to cross. Traffic is currently using the overpass, but traffic flow has not returned to normal.

The accident is under investigation.
