RCMP are asking the public to help them determine who was responsible for a cottage fire in Regina Beach Saturday.
The fire happened at about 3:45 p.m. Saturday on the 100 block of 4th Avenue. Police say no one was home at the time of the fire.
Upon examination of the scene, investigators determined that the cause of the fire was arson.
The cottage sustained extensive damage, but the fire did not spread to any other buildings.
RCMP and fire scene investigators are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Lumsden RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
