RCMP are on the lookout for a 46-year-old man who escaped from the Regina Provincial Correctional Centre Monday afternoon.

At around 3:30 p.m., correctional staff advised the White Butte RCMP that inmate Ronald Turner had escaped.

RCMP said in a press release that the initial investigation revealed no risk to public safety, but officials are reaching out to the public to assist them in located Turner.

Turner is described as 5’7’’ tall and 155 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and grey sweat pants.

RCMP said Turner may be in the Regina area, but this has not been confirmed. If you see Turner or know of his whereabouts, RCMP ask that you do not approach him, and contact police immediately.
