Regina City Council has given the go-ahead for the development of a new big box shopping centre in Regina.
It will be located in Southeast Regina, near Arcola Avenue, near the Greens on Gardiner neighborhood.
The owners of Greens on Gardiner, along with other investors and developers cited a need for more amenities for residents in the neighborhood, such as grocery stores. The new complex will be home to more than 20 stores.
A change in zoning was needed to approve the shopping centre, which council agreed to Monday night.
