New statistics show the rental vacancy rate in Regina has risen above three per cent for the first time since 2006.

City hall has been fighting against condominium conversions while promoting more housing construction.

But while the city has reached its goal of raising the rental vacancy rate to three per cent by 2017, some Regina neighbourhoods are still below that.
