This weekend marks the last time Regina’s landfill will be open on Sundays and holidays.
The landfill is moving to a Monday to Saturday schedule because of city budget cuts, which take effect this week.
The new schedule won’t be adopted until May 28, meaning the landfill will still be open Victoria Day.
