Regina police have arrested and charged an 18-year-old man after a string of recent robberies in the city.

Police arrested the suspect Thursday night after locating a stolen vehicle that is believed to be linked to the six robberies, which occurred between Nov. 19 and 22.

Marlon Leslie Holryd Coates of Regina faces 18 charges, including six counts of robbery, three counts of wearing a disguise and one charge of evading police.

Coates is scheduled to make his first court appearance Thursday afternoon.
