A 30-year-old Regina man is in hospital after he suffered an apparent gunshot wound.

Police say investigators have not been able to determine where the incident occurred or the events leading up to it. The incident is being treated as attempted murder.

Shortly before 8 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to a city hospital for a report of a man who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound. The man remains in hospital.

It isn’t known whether the incident is connected to another incident, in which a window was shot out at a house in the 1400 block of Robinson Street on Wednesday morning, police said.

There is also no known link between the incident and a shooting on Victoria Avenue that sent a man to hospital Monday night.

Anyone with information that could help in the investigation is asked to contact Regina police or Crime Stoppers.
