Regina police say sisters aged four and two years are in hospital – victims of alleged abuse and neglect.
Police say the four year old girl was taken to a Regina hospital Wednesday in what they describe as an “unresponsive state”. The child was revived. Her condition is listed as critical.
An investigation into the matter led police to a home in north Regina and a two year sibling. The second child was also hospitalized.
A 35 year old woman and a 37 year old man identified as caregivers are in custody. Charges are pending.
