RCMP have released a composite sketch of a suspect in an alleged sexual assault just north of Regina.

Mounties say a woman was walking along Retallack Street in the city’s North Central neighbourhood early Thursday morning when man grabbed her from behind.

The man forced the woman into a pickup truck and drove to the industrial area north of the city.

Police say the man parked the vehicle on a grid road near Highway 6 and sexually assaulted the woman.

The woman was able to struggle free by hitting and kicking the man several times. She fled on foot as the truck drove away.

The man is described as Caucasian, about 50 years old, five-foot-seven to six feet tall with a medium build and grey thinning hair. He was wearing oil-stained pants and a plaid shirt and has scruffy facial hair.

He was driving a white, mid-80s model regular-cab pickup truck with a large, rusted, silver toolbox in the bed of the vehicle and black-and-white fuzzy dice hanging from the rear-view mirror.

Anyone with information is being asked to call RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
