A Regina woman has been charged following an investigation into the alleged abuse of a two-month-old boy.

Police say they received a report over the weekend that an infant had suffered non-accidental injuries.

It’s alleged the child’s injuries were caused between Feb. 12 and 14.

A 27-year-old Regina woman has been charged with criminal negligence causing bodily harm. Her name isn’t being released to protect the identity of the child.

The woman made her first court appearance Tuesday morning.
