The Saskatchewan Roughriders have named Bill MacDermott as the team's new running backs coach.
Riders coaches Doug Berry, Bob Dyce and Alex Smith have also agreed to return for another season. However, the team has confirmed that coaches Jim Daley, Nelson Martin and Tom Freeman will not be back in 2011.
MacDermott spent nine seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos before joining the Toronto Argonauts as an offensive line coach in 2008. He also spent time in Winnipeg and Montreal.
Prior to that, MacDermott worked for two seasons as the tight ends coach for the San Diego Chargers.
