The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed three import players and released receiver Ernie Wheelwright.
The team announced Tuesday it has agreed to terms with receiver Sinorice Moss, offensive lineman Johan Asiata and import linebacker Daniel Sheffield.
Moss had 39 receptions for 421 yards and three touchdowns in five seasons with the New York Giants. During that time, the speedy receiver also racked up nearly 500 return yards.
Asiata spent the past three seasons on the Chicago Bears practice squad. The New Zealand native previously played at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
Sheffield played three season at Troy University and finished his career with 147 defensive tackles, seven tackles for loss, 2.5 quarterback sacks and one interception.
