The number of Saskatchewan residents receiving regular employment insurance benefits fell in June.
Statistics Canada says 9,360 people received EI benefits in the province during the month, down 11 per cent from a year earlier.
Regina had 180 fewer beneficiaries, while Saskatoon saw a slightly smaller decrease of 170.
Nationally, the number of EI recipients dropped by 62,900 compared to June 2011.
