A 45-year-old RCMP officer is facing charges stemming from alleged domestic assaults in Indian Head.
RCMP say the assaults are alleged to have occurred while the officer was off duty between August 2009 and December 2012.
The veteran member of the RCMP lives in Indian Head and works in Regina. His name isn’t being released to protect the identity of the alleged victim.
The Mountie is charged with four counts of assault and is scheduled to appear in court March 5 in Indian Head.
He will also face an internal code-of-conduct review.
