Statistics Canada says Saskatchewan's economy created 6,800 jobs in April.
The province was tied with Alberta for the lowest unemployment rate in the country at 4.9 per cent.
Regina posted a 5.3 per cent unemployment rate during the month. Saskatoon's jobless rate was higher at 9.5 per cent.
The agency says Canada saw an increase of 58,000 jobs.
