Saskatchewan livestock producers have something to feel good about. The Ministry of Agriculture says 88-percent of the hay crop has been cut. And equally good news, 76-percent of the crop has been baled or put into silage. Ministry officials say the crop rates high in quality. The ministry also points out the harvest of winter cereals and some pulse crops is underway.
Crop damage in the past week is attributed to disease, insects and wind.
