Saskatchewan’s population continues to grow, according to new numbers from Statistics Canada.

The province’s population grew by 5,314 people in the second quarter of 2016, bringing the total population to 1,150,632 as of July 1.

It’s the largest quarterly increase since the second quarter of 2013, and the third-largest percentage increase among the provinces over the past quarter.

Saskatchewan’s population has grown every quarter for more than the past decade.
