It was a busy morning for emergency crews in Regina after three semi-trailers were involved in two separate crashes.

Eastbound traffic was backed up on Victoria Avenue near Park Street after a semi-trailer tipped onto its side and spilled alfalfa pellets onto the ground shortly after 7:30 a.m. Friday.

The driver wasn’t hurt in the crash. Eastbound traffic on Victoria Avenue was down to one lane at the scene.

Then at around 8 a.m., crews were called to a collision between two other semi-trailers and an SUV on the Trans-Canada Highway just west of Tower Road.

There’s no word on any injuries. Westbound traffic on Highway 1 was being diverted near the scene.
