A senator’s wife who made headlines across the country is scheduled to appear in a Saskatoon courtroom Tuesday.
Maygan Sensenberger is facing charges of causing a disturbance on an airplane and uttering threats against her husband, Sen. Rod Zimmer.
The charges stem from a flight the couple was on last month. witnesses say sensenberger threatened to 'slit her husbands throat'.
When the plane landed in Saskatoon, Sensenberger was arrested. The case is being heard in domestic violence court.
The husband and wife were ordered to have no physical contact with each other.
