Regina Police are investigating after a 20-year-old man was assaulted and robbed.

Police were approached by an injured man around 4 a.m. on Sunday around 4 a.m. at the corner of 5th Ave. and Athol St. The man said he had been assaulted by a number of people at a house party.

Police say the victim had his belongings stolen, including his keys for his vehicle. He was the held inside the residence but escaped through a bathroom window.

The victim ran to a passer-by who drove him to get help.

Police went to the house where the party was being held and arrested several people including two teen girls.

Police located the victim’s stolen vehicle at the intersection of 13th Ave. and Retallack St. The driver refused to stop for police, but the vehicle was later found abandoned on the 1300 block of Garnet St.

Police arrested five suspects in the area.

Delayne Preston Allary, 23, April Raine Bigsky, 19, Jamie Dean Buffalo, 36, Cherish Longman, 18, Cree Summer Strongarm, 21, and a 13, 14, 16 and a 17-year-old who cannot be named in accordance with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, have charged with forcible confinement, and robbery with violence, among other charges.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries as a result of the incident.

The suspects made their first appearance in Provincial Court and Youth Court on these charges Monday, July 25, 2016, at 9:30 am.
