Six Saskatchewan productions have been nominated for the Canadian Screen Awards.
The nominees from the province who were announced Tuesday include:
• Best lifestyle program or series: Hell on Hooves - Rad-X (High Fidelity HDTV) (Juxtapose Productions Inc.) Dennis Hrapchak
• Television/digital media nominations: Hell on Hooves - Moustache Power - Rad-X (High Fidelity HDTV) - Douglas Hudema
• Achievement in music – original song: Erland & the Carival - Rufus - Wanting and Out of Sight
• Best writing in a children’s or youth program or series: Wapos Bay: Long Goodbyes – APTN - Dennis Jackson, Melanie Jackson
• Best photography in a comedy program or series: InSecurity - Anger Management - CBC - Ken (Anton) Krawczyk
• Best performance by an actress in a continuing leading comedic role: InSecurity - Agent Ex – CBC - Natalie Lisinska
• Best original music for a non-fiction program or series: Dust Up - It Looked Like Death - History Channel (Shaw Media) - Jay Semko
The awards will be broadcast live on CBC on March 3.
