More than 100 people gathered on the Trans-Canada Highway near White City on Saturday, to support the Idle No More peaceful “slow down” barricade.
RCMP helped direct traffic as motorists passed the blockade between noon and 3 p.m.
The barricade was intended to educate the public on Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s controversial Bill C-45.
Idle No More demonstrations are expected to continue across the country into next week.
