Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for parts of southern Saskatchewan.
According to Environment Canada’s website, a low pressure system will bring rain, wind and possibly snow into the southern part of the province for the first half of the week. The site predicts many areas could see 25 to 50 millimetres of precipitation before the system passes out of the province on Wednesday. Areas in the southwest might be hit by up to 75 millimetres of precipitation through the first part of the week.
Environment Canada says areas of high elevation around Cypress Hills have a possibility of 10 to 15 centimetres of snow Tuesday, with other areas seeing rain turn to snow by Wednesday morning.
