HMV may have closed its doors, but Saskatchewan music lovers will soon be able to shop at the Canadian-owned Sunrise Records. The Ontario based music chain has announced three more locations in the province.
Sunrise had previously announced that they would be taking over the HMV store in Regina’s Southland Mall, but they have now announced that they will also be opening stores in the old HMV locations in Regina’s Cornwall Centre, as well as Midtown Plaza and Lawson Heights Mall in Saskatoon.
Sunrise records plans to take over 70 former HMV locations across the province. Some of the new stores are scheduled to open this month, although it is not clear if any of the Saskatchewan stores are among them.
