A 15-year-old is facing charges after Vibank Regional School was placed in hold and secure last week.
The school received an email on September 30 that an armed individual was coming to the school. School officials contacted RCMP, who ordered the hold and secure. The order was lifted just before 3:00 that afternoon.
Indian Head and Montmartre RCMP along with the Saskatchewan Integrated Technological Crimes Unit have determined that the treat was unfounded.
A 15-year-old has now been charged with one count of providing a false message. The teen will appear in Indian Head Provincial Court on Tuesday, November 17.
