A 16-year-old boy has been charged with second-degree murder after a man was fatally injured in a fight in North Central Regina.
The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Derrick Justin Amyotte from Regina.
Police responded to a report of an altercation in the area of Fifth Avenue and Rae Street at around 10 p.m. Sunday.
Officers found a critically wounded man nearby. He was taken to hospital, where he later died.
The accused, who cannot be named, made his first court appearance Tuesday morning. The case has been adjourned for a week.
