Testimony had wrapped up at the Regina murder trial of three men accused in the death of Shawn Douglas.

On Thursday, all three defence lawyers opted to call no witnesses, and present no evidence.

The jury has been dismissed until Monday, when closing arguments are expected to be presented.

Joshua Wilson, 24, Dennis Thompson, 32, and Jonathon Peepeetch, 23, are all charged with first-degree murder in Douglas’ death.

Police found Douglas' body in a wooded area northeast of Regina in August 2014. The cause of death was ruled as blunt force trauma to the head.
