Police have charged one man and three teenage boys in the death of a man in Regina on Saturday.

Officers were called to the 700 block of Garnet St. at 1:43 a.m. When they arrived they found a man suffering from serious injuries. He was transported to hospital where he was confirmed deceased. The victim has been identified as Joshua Michael Harden, 26, of Regina. 

The RPS Major Crimes Unit, Office of the Chief Coroner, Forensic Identification Unit and the Community Services Division are investigating. Police believe a group of people came out of a home on the 700 block of Garnet, and became involved in an altercation with the victim. When the victim collapsed, the suspects fled back into the house.

Four men and five women were originally taken into custody from the house. The women were released without charges. 

Three boys, ages 14, 15, and 17, as well as a 22-year-old man have been charged with second-degree murder.

The suspects are scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
