Travel is not recommended on portions of Highway 1 and other highways in southern Saskatchewan due to winter conditions.

According to the Ministry of Highways, Highway 1 between Regina, Moose Jaw and Swift Current has swirling snow and icy sections. Travel is not recommended between Indian Head and Regina due to poor conditions.

The Ministry also does not recommend travelling on highways around Weyburn and Regina. Most other provincial highways have icy or slippery sections, including the area near Saskatoon.

Motorists are reminded that conditions can change quickly and unexpectedly, and they should slow down and drive for conditions.
