Two people are dead following a collision on Highway 10 south of Yorkton on Saturday afternoon.

Yorkton and Melville RCMP responded to the two vehicle collision around 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. According to police, a south bound car with a driver and passenger collided with a northbound care with one male driver.

A 17-year-old boy and a 29-year-old man, both from the Yorkton area, died of their injuries. STARS brought an 18-year-old man to the Regina General Hospital with serious injuries.

The victim’s names have not been released.

Highway 10 was closed for five hours as RCMP investigation. The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
