Two men are facing attempted murder charges in connection with a shooting that left two other men injured in Regina’s north end last week.

Police were called to a home in the 300 block of Cornwall Street North for a report of an injured man early last Thursday.

When police and EMS arrived, they found a 25-year-old man who had sustained life-threatening injuries. A second victim, a 22-year-old man, was located a few blocks away.

Both men were taken to hospital with apparent gunshot wounds. The 22-year-old man has since been released, but the 25-year-old man still remains in hospital.

On Tuesday, police arrested an 18-year-old Regina man in connection with the shooting.

Tyrik Jahil Peter Ross has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, three counts of assault with a weapon, and break and enter with intent to commit assault.

Ross was scheduled to make his first court appearance Wednesday afternoon.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a second suspect, 23-year-old Jorden Dean Peter Ross-Briltz of no fixed address, who faces similar charges in the shooting.

Ross-Briltz is described as about six-foot-one and 155 pounds with a thin build, light complexion, brown hair and hazel eyes. He has pierced ears and a scar under the left side of his chin.

Anyone with information on Ross-Briltz’s whereabouts is asked to contact Regina police or Crime Stoppers.
