The drivers of two vehicles were both taken to hospital in Regina after a two-vehicle collision north of the city.

Just after 10 a.m., the driver of a Jeep lost control of the vehicle and collided with an oncoming pickup truck on Highway 20, RCMP said.

The female driver of the Jeep, who is from Craven, was taken to hospital in Regina with serious injuries.

The man driving the truck was also taken to hospital in Regina, but the extent of his injuries isn’t known.

Traffic on the highway was being diverted in both directions near the scene for several hours.

Mounties say there was frost on the highway at the time of the crash.
