Two men are facing arson charges in connection with a fire that damaged three houses under construction in northwest Regina nearly five years ago.

An investigation determined the August 2010 fire that broke out on Brookview Drive was deliberately set.

No one was hurt in the fire.

Last month, police arrested two men in connection with the incident.

Jeremy Myles Schopf, 33, of North Battleford and 31-year-old Bradley Stanley Krall of Regina have both been charged with arson for fraudulent purposes and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.

Schopf made his first court appearance April 17 and Krall is scheduled to appear in court June 2.
