A U.S. man is facing child pornography charges following a seizure by Canadian border officers at the North Portal crossing in Saskatchewan.

Canada Border Services Agency officers found suspected child pornography on a traveller’s electronic devices last Friday, according to a Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit news release.

The man was arrested and turned over to the Saskatchewan ICE Unit, which confirmed the images as child pornography.

Brandon Eugene Johnson, 43, of Knoxville, Tenn. was arrested and held in custody on charges of possession and importation of child pornography. Johnson appeared in provincial court Monday morning in Estevan.
