Regina police have laid charges in a rash of robberies over the long weekend.
Early Saturday morning, police were called to a report of a robbery and assault in the 1900 block of Prince of Wales Drive.
Two 20-year-old men and a 17-year-old boy had been involved in a fight with three other people.
The victims were injured but didn’t need medical help.
A cell phone and a hat were stolen from the victims. Police later arrested an 18-year-old man at a home in the 800 block of Grace Street.
Brandt Daniel Ian Bird has been charged with assault.
Then just before midnight Sunday, police were called to another robbery at the corner of Dewdney Avenue and Cavendish Street.
A man armed with a knife reportedly approached another man and a woman and demanded money.
When officers arrived, they found the intoxicated man and took him into custody.
Thirty-year-old Cory Alexander Fouchere is facing two counts of robbery with intent to steal.
Also on Sunday, police made an arrest after a 13-year-old boy and his friends were approached by a man in his late teens who then stole the boy's bicycle.
Nineteen-year-old Kyle Mitchell Musqua has been charged with robbery and breach of probation.
