Vietnamese sizzling crepe (Bánh Xèo)

An eggless crepe that is light and filled with crunchy vegetables. Pour over the sauce for a light lunch or dinner.

For crepe mix :

4 cups of Rice Flour

2 Cups of coconut milk (or regular milk)

1 cup of water

Pinch of salt

1 1/2 tablespoon of Turmeric

1 spoon of cornstarch

3 tablespoon of minced green onions

Main ingredients:

100 gr of bacon (smoked bacon if preferred )

100 gr white shrimps (peeled and slice in half)

200 gr of fresh bean sprouts

25 gr chives

200 gr sliced fresh white onions

2 cups of lentils

1 bunch of Red or Green Lettuce

1 small bunch of cilantro

Mint / Basil / Chives / Lemon balm or use your own favourite Herbs to serve

Dipping sauce: makes 1 cup

1 tablespoon of white vinegar

4 tablespoon of lemon juice (fresh squeezed)

4 tablespoon of sugar

1/2 cup of water

3 tablespoon of fish sauce
