Premier Brad Wall reached out to Saskatchewanians on Facebook Saturday morning to address the province’s alarming rates of impaired driving.
In the Facebook post, Wall touched on strengthening the penalties for drinking and driving, the importance of designated drivers and the need to change Saskatchewan’s prevalent drunk-driving culture.
This comes on the heels of former deputy premier Don McMorris’ impaired driving charges, as well as some recent fatal drinking and driving crashes around the province.
