Wednesday marks the 10-year anniversary of the disappearance of Courtney Struble, who investigators in Saskatchewan believe was murdered.

Struble was last seen leaving a veterinary clinic on the outskirts of Estevan after watching a movie with a friend and his brother on July 9, 2004.

RCMP now say investigators have determined that Struble, who was apparently walking back to her father’s house, returned to Estevan after leaving the vet clinic.

None of her personal belongings were missing, and her bank and health cards haven’t been used.

Mounties said that evidence is not consistent with a case of someone who has run away from home or does not want to have contact with her family.

Since Struble was reported missing, dozens of investigators have conducted hundreds of interviews. The last tip on her disappearance was received on May 21.

Investigators have determined that the two people she was with at the vet clinic the night she went missing were not involved in her disappearance.

Authorities believe Struble’s body is located in the Estevan area. In the coming days, investigators will be conducting searches with ground-penetrating radar and an unmanned aerial vehicle equipped with a camera.

RCMP are asking Estevan-area residents to check their rural properties, including abandoned buildings, grassy and wooded areas, and standing bodies of water.

Anyone who sees something out of the ordinary or who has information about Struble’s death is asked to contact the RCMP Historical Case Unit or Crime Stoppers.
