The provincial government still hasn't announced when a helicopter landing pad will be built at the Regina General Hospital.
Last spring, the government hired engineers to study the feasibility of a landing pad on the roof of the hospital.
Currently, the Stars Air Ambulance is landing at the airport, and transferring patients to hospital by road ambulance. This extra travel is slowing emergency service time.
Luckily, Stars says it isn't a major problem yet
